World is facing Sixth Extinction!

World is facing Sixth Extinction?
World has faced major five extinction events in his history up till now. That is Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction event, Triassic-Jurassic extinction event, Permian-Triassic extinction event, Late Devonian extinction event, Ordovician-Silurian extinction event, Cambrian-Ordovician extinction event. An extinction event is sharp decrease in number of species in a relative short period of time. The most recent extinction was Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction event which is occurred 65 million years ago in which nearly all Dinosaurs species which were dominant in animal class at that period become extinct. But, human beings are currently causing the great mass of the species. Averagely, a distinct species of plant or animal become extinct after every 20 minutes. If present trend continue one-half of all the species on earth will be extinct in less than coming 100 years. Researchers show that the rate of current extinction is highly unusual and clearly qualifying, present period as one of the five great periods of mass extinctions in the history of earth.
